Beating the Heat Round 2

Since the heat showed no signs of letting up yesterday we decided to call Pam and the boys for a water slide play date. She jumped on the chance to cool off the boys and tire them out!

Brody's mom said he wasn't a huge fan of the water...I think he is now!
Mattox didn't want to get his face wet at first...but he decided it wasn't so bad!

Seth will miss these two friends as they start kindergarten in the fall.

Pam and I sat in the shade, but from time to time we needed to jump in and cool off.

After Leah's morning nap she was ready for some water action.

Then, we pulled out the water balloons and the boys had a blast.

I think out of a pack of 500 we blew up and tied about 100.

It was a great way to beat the heat. We will be leaving today for our summer vacation so be on the lookout for many many pics at the end of next week! Thank you also to Mom, Big Ro, Bonnie, Sue, Jen Voss and Kristen for their collaborative efforts and help with Rocky while we are gone. We couldn't do it without you!
