Spring Break '17 ~ Friday

Friday was our final day. We had decided to head to Virginia for an overnight about halfway so that we were home on Saturday at a decent time. We soaked up as much sun as we could on Friday morning and early afternoon before heading out.

Erica was even brave enough on the final day to pick up a Jelly Ball. Yikes.

We even saw a crab too.
That's a wrap SC, you rocked and our house is already booked with a deposit for next year. We can't wait to come back.

Spring Break '17 ~ Thursday

We had heard about the sport called "Foot Golf" AKA Soccer Golf, a while back, but had never had the opportunity to try it until we saw a sign for it near our house in Surfside.
We decided that it was a must and we were not disappointed. We had a ton of fun and can't wait to play again.

After golf we headed to the Garden City pier to check it out. We saw all sorts of fish being caught and Jelly Balls swimming in the ocean.

Thursday afternoon we headed to Bubba's Fish Shack for lunch. It was so delish.
Seth made quite the impression on our waitress Hillary.

After lunch we picked up Devin and his cousin so the boys could play all afternoon.
The ladies sat our butts in the ocean and soaked up the sun.

Thursday night was adult night out. We started at Fat Tuesday's for a delicious margarita.
Then we met up with some friends at Crocodile Rocks for some amazing entertainment.

Plus we shared a margarita the size of your head.

Tons of fun was had.

Spring Break '17 Monday-Wednesday

The kids absolutely loved checking out the Jelly Balls since we no longer feared them.

Seth and Donovan spent so much time on those boogie boards that they developed little rashes behind their knees from all the sand in the water. They spent a ton of time in the ocean.

Beach life is so rough.

Monday night we headed out to explore the area and play some mini golf.
Leah got a hole in one.
Seth got a hole in one also.

After golf we were bound and determined to find a Crispy Crème with the light on for fresh hot donuts and we were successful. Woot woot.

Tuesday morning we drove the golf cart out to the highway for a pic next to the Surfside sign.

Beach Jenga was such a HIT. Pete did a great job building it and we all had tons of fun playing on the beach.

Tuesday night we headed to Medieval Times for the dinner and show. It was quite an experience.

Wednesday morning we decided to try something brand new and take a helicopter ride. We just did the intro ride to make sure we didn't get sick. We absolutely loved it and plan to take the longer ride next year. What a blast.

Wednesday afternoon we decided that we needed a sun break so we headed to Broadway at the Beach for some shopping, cocktails and  dinner.

Wednesday night we headed back to the beach for some night time fun. We played soccer on the beach and watched some fireworks down the ocean.
Life is good.
