The 4th With Family!

After our fun filled 3rd of July party with our friends we decided to keep the 4th low key and invite Mom and Tom out on the boat with us. For once the weather cooperated and we all had a fantastic afternoon on the lake.

Getting the two kids to sit still together was interesting so this is what I got for our 4th of July pic of the kiddos.

Bringing the tube was a blessing. Leah was so content to float around while Seth would get in and out when he got tired of swimming.

Of course snacks were on the menu for Miss Leah while she floated.

Seth and Ro took a break from water sports and did some people watching.

So while my mom was attempting to get in the tube she missed a step or a wave came up and basically threw her in and almost overboard. We laughed so hard and so did she as you can see.

We got home around 5:30 and Leah was zonked so we let her take a 30 minute power nap. She looked like this!

After baths we put Leah to bed and had a fire, sparklers and s'mores!
