Brushton Tournament

The boys had their own fun weekend too. Seth's new team had a tournament in Brushton all weekend.

At this point they had won all three of their games and were waiting to see if they made it into the championship game.

The Year of 40 Continues...

I'm calling this "The Year of 40" because I've planned a crap load of trips and I'm trying to seize every opportunity that comes my way.
I made a little promise to my brother last summer and I finally made good on that promise. Leah and I spent some quality time this weekend with Chad, Lindsey, Caydance and Rowen.

Walking by the water in downtown Sarasota. Leah loved helping with Rowen.

We now call Rowen "Rockstar Baby". As long as he is fed, he is up for anything. He is always smiley and such a great baby.
We took a beautiful hike along the water.

These two girlies got along fantastically. They played and swam the entire time.

We came home sun kissed, refreshed and ready for our next beach vacation in 25 days.

St. Patty's Weekend

St. Patty's Day started out with a bang. Patty Leprechaun came bright and early since Leah had a 7am soccer game and Seth's basketball tournament started at 8am. Lots of sugar filled excitement filled the house.
Seth joined the Victory Bulldogs travel team and he had his first tournament of this new season at JCC. The team is figuring each other out and starting to jell.
Leah and I tried out some fun Snapchat filters in between games.

Saturday night we had to finish out the holiday with Shamrock Shakes.
Sunday we ended up having an impromptu gathering to watch SU play and kick Michigan States butt.
I thought ahead and called for a buddy for Leah. The poor girl is always stuck with all the boys. She and Alexandra had a blast!
This week the sun is out all week long and I am LOVING every minute of it. Plus Leah and I head to the warm sunny south later this week and we are counting down the minutes.

We finally made it up to Lowville to celebrate Leah's birthday with Gram and Gramp on Friday night. We had a wonderful time having dinner with them, helping around the house and chit chatting. My gram loves herself some dessert let me tell you.
Saturday night we decided to have some friends over and host a "Friendsgiving" in March. We had all the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal and it was super delish. We decided to celebrate St. Patty's Day a week early also while we watched the championship game in the ACC Tourney.

Sunday was the finale at Dry Hill for the season. Seth skied with some buddies and told me he definitely used his pass enough this season, that he had gone 10 times.
Leah also went with a buddy and had a blast.
We watched the Selection Sunday show and were SHOCKED to find out that SU made the tourney this year. We will eagerly watch them battle it out on Wednesday night this week.
I'll need a nap to stay up for this game, but I'm going to try.
Daylight Savings kicked my butt yesterday and I was asleep at 8pm. My son is lovely and captured this pic of me.
We are thrilled to watch our team at least one more time this season and hopefully more.
The sun was out and glorious this morning at home, but hasn't quite caught up in Clayton yet.

Spa Science at the Library & Music in Our Schools

On Tuesday after school I took Leah and a friend to "Spa Science" at the library. The girls learned how to make bath bombs and scented bath scrub. They LOVED it.
Last night was "Music in Our Schools". Seth is part of the Wiley Ensemble this year so they performed along with the Case Ensemble, WHS Select Choir and WHS Ensemble plus all three school bands. It was a spectacular night of amazing talent and music. The Wiley Ensemble was asked to wear purple and jeans. Seth and his buddies all jumped at the chance to wear their jerseys.

 Such talented boy and buddies
Just some of the boys in ensemble.
I was bummed that I couldn't leap off the bleachers at the end to grab Seth's cousins who were also in the show for a quick picture.
