Mini Family Vacation

Two very special people bought us passes to The Strong Museum for Christmas so we loaded up the kids and decided to spend a weekend in Rochester. Last year when we went to the museum Leah was still pretty much in the stroller and was just an observer, well not this year. She was running around and having an utter blast. Seth was so excited that he couldn't contain himself he wanted to rush from activity to activity.
Climbing the rock wall
Driving a race car

YES, I am the dorky mom who dresses their kids in matching shirts that say "Big Brother" and "Little Sister." Seriously, don't they look super cute though??
Singing with the Sesame Street Characters
Running a hot dog stand
Working the meat counter at Wegman's
I think Leah liked the grocery store the best. She was pushing that cart so fast and grabbing everything off the shelf that she could.
Boy does this bring back memories for Roland and I. I believe Roland worked in the grocery business for 10 years and I worked in it for 5. Oh, the Super Duper (Watertown) and Big M (Oswego) memories!
Brush those teeth Beaner!
The Bernstein Bears Diner. Now that's a pancake Sunday meal!Being the pilot of a helicopter
All aboard!
A life size Lincoln Log House
I just loved this troll!
Seth made himself a crown.
Being interactive
We had the most fantastic day and watching the kids faces light up around every corner was the best gift of all. Thank you Sheryl and Jess for the wonderful gift!

Leah comes by her shopping abilities by nature, I believe!! She has seen you in action at the grocery store...run as fast as you can and put everything you can into the cart and get out!! Hahaha!!
