Many tears were shed this morning as we sent our 5th graders off to become middle schoolers. We had their special graduation ceremony and then in true Guardino fashion our entire faculty waved goodbye to all bus students. We all line up by the bus garage and wave good bye and farewell to all 7 buses as they departed. This year it was extra special because our music teacher played music as we waved and boy was she creative. She played "Another Brick in the Wall", "Hey Hey Hey Goodbye" and then "Celebration". It was perfect and we all laughed and danced around the parking lot once the buses were gone.
At that moment I stood there and felt incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to work here in Clayton. This is a GREAT school with GREAT people. I am blessed!
Thank you Thousand Islands CSD for 10 fantastic years! Now on to the next 23!
