Our Santa Visit 2010

Roland had heard about a Santa event on Saturday and since the kids hadn't visited Santa yet we packed them up bright and early and headed to the Carriage House or should I say Mad House. It was super busy and when we got there at 9am when it started there was already a long line waiting to see Santa. Thank goodness they had all sorts of characters dressed up for the kids to see and it took their minds off the wait. Once the line got moving it went very quickly.
Seth was super excited to see many of his favorite characters...Boots, Diego, Elmo, Mickey Mouse, Swiper, Scooby Doo and a Snowman.
Leah was in utter awe to be sitting on Santa's lap and she just stared at him. Thank goodness no tears were shed, but it was funny nonetheless.
We finally got her to look at the camera, but there were no smiles!
Again...in awe!
It was a crazy busy, but fun morning and the kids really enjoyed themselves.
Now we can cross "A Visit with Santa" off our list!

I'm so jealous, my kids won't go anywhere near Santa or anyone or thing in costume. They'll be teenagers before I have pictures of them on Santa's lap!

That's either the world's smallest Santa or your kids have really grown since I last saw them!

I heard about that the day after it happened, it is on my list for next year! Did they get a toy afterwards? Love the pics with Santa!
