Rewind: 1st Two Weeks of August

The first week of August Leah went to Art Camp and Seth went to Sports Camp so I had three hours each day to MYSELF=HEAVEN.
We went blueberry picking at Tug Hill Vineyards which was even more fun than raspberry picking. They were more than delicious and it was a blast. Next year we want to try cherry picking. You name it, we will pick it, well... except our noses. HA.

We stopped at the Farmer's Market and made a fun hat out of paper and duct tape.
Our friends fiancé owns a candy company in New Jersey so we found one of his products at the store Five Below and tried them out. The kids went nuts over them. Candy is for more than just eating, it can be fun too.

One overcast Saturday we rented a golf cart at the marina and drove all around for an hour. It was super relaxing and the kids loved it. They took turns steering.
We had a date night with Bean one evening. We drove the boat to our favorite place of course.
Leah is happy as a pig in poo at The Hops Spot. She colors all over the bricks while we kick back with a cocktail.

We invited our friends the Pettit's on the boat for the first time and had an epic lake day.

We went to the Stony Point Lighthouse.
Then caught up with friends at the beach at Black Pond.

As a summer rite of passage we went to the Enchanted Forest.

Then we said "See You Soon" to Uncle J and Aunt Joanie. At least they only live five hours away now and they are no longer in a different time zone. Win.
On our way to visit friends in NH we stopped at the Basketball Hall of Fame. Seth was in his glory.
Leah and I skipped the hall of fame and went mini golfing.

The sign stays the same, but the kids keep getting bigger.
