Ripe, Red and Juicy Berries

We weren't sure if we would make it out to our traditional berry picking trek this year because of the hot temperatures and then the threatening rain, BUT we made it out and the berries were fantastic. We wore our mud boots and looks pretty silly, but we had fun doing it.
Leah couldn't quite grasp walking down the rows and over the berry patches so she squashed quite a few.
Once she sampled her first berry it was all over. She wanted more and more until she was completely stuffed.
In the end we had enough to make a giant strawberry crisp and lots of bowls of cut up fresh berries were eaten by The Charlton kiddos.
