Update

I know many of you check this for status updates on Ro. Until today we didn't have much to share, but I just got the best phone call ever from Ro. We went to see the oncologist this past Tuesday and were told that it is a Stage 1 cancer which is the best news ever. We couldn't celebrate until we had two more pieces of information. One being the blood work post surgery and the second will be the results from his CT scan next Tuesday. The nurse called Roland this morning and told him that all of the tumor markers had dropped. Until about three weeks ago I had no idea what this meant, but now I do and it is amazing news. It basically means that by removing "it" it appears that the cancer has not spread and that we caught this terrible disease in time before it could do any more damage. We will know everything next week after we do the scan and get the results. Keep the prayers coming because we are almost home free.

Roland is also doing really well. He is back to work and has about 95% mobility in the area of his surgery. His spirits are much better and we are hoping that we kicked cancers ass just like we said we were going to! More news to come next week!
