Neuschwanstein Castle

Our first big outing was to tour Neuschwanstein Castle. To get there we had to travel through Austria and through some beautiful and quaint towns. The sights were breathtaking and I enjoyed the ride just as much as the castle tour.

Germany is filled with Coca-Cola everywhere you look so when we found a lonely Pepsi vending machine we felt excited so we needed to take a picture of it.
 May Pole
The hike UP to the mountain (insert moans and groans from Leah as we trekked up the hill)
We rewarded ourselves with ice cream at the top

 Breathtaking views (not of us)

We weren't allowed to take any pictures of the inside of the castle, but let me just say it was like nothing I've ever seen or imagined. It was beyond amazing.

We stopped at a little imbis after our tour. An imbis is like a little fast food restaurant. They served hot dogs, brats and other types of quick German food.
Of course they served beer too and of course we had to try it.
