Brief Stop in Austria & Downtown Garmish

As we passed through Austria on our way back to the resort we pulled over and got our picture taken by the sign for Austria. I'm not going to lie, it was pretty cool to say that we drove through a small part of Austria and got to get out and walk around a bit.
This is a picture of Highline 179. It is a pedestrian bridge that we had REALLY wanted to walk across. The first day the winds were wicked and the second day it snowed like crazy so we weren't able to do it. I was more than bummed.
A picture of the resort we stayed at for three days
Many of the buildings in downtown Garmish have these beautiful scenes painted on them. So interesting. There is art everywhere.
On Tuesday evening Lee volunteered to take the kids to the pool while Roland, Kris and I walked around downtown Garmish and then hit a local Irish Pub. We had some drinks and an app and it was so fun.
This cider is fantastic.
