July ~ Hershey Park & Our Trip to DC

On the way to Emily and Eve's wedding we decided to make a pit stop at Hershey Park. We decided to go to their twilight hours because it would be cooler and the lines would be shorter. It was the best decision we could have made. We had such a great night and went on tons of rides.

I absolutely love that the kids are old enough to go on coasters with us and that they share a love of them just as we do. It was so great. Our faces are truly priceless.
Hershey Park is such a blast.
The next morning before heading to DC we went over to Chocolate World and took the tour. It was tons of fun as well.
When we got to DC we headed down to an area near our hotel called Rio and rented a peddle boat. Leah chose a duck. It was so funny. We didn't run into the docks, but we almost got caught in a huge thunderstorm on the boat.
Friday night we got all dressed up and headed to the wedding (outdoors in 95 degree heat, ugh).

It was TONS of fun and we danced our hearts out until 11pm. Our family rocks.
On Saturday we headed to the National Zoo.

The grand finale of the trip was Saturday when my aunt and uncle hosted a big BBQ in their backyard. It was super fun, relaxing and delicious.

Next up on the tour of July...The Castana's Visit
