After visiting Justin and Joan we headed an hour away to visit our dear friends Nina & John at their rented beach house on Salisbury Beach. We had literally the best two days in the sand and sun possible. Nina's dad rented the adjoining house so the kids roamed back and forth with all of the cousins and we barely saw them for 48 hours.

Sitting around all day is tough. Napping was such a necessity.
On our second evening with Nina and John we were able to sneak out for a couples seafood feast while Nina's dad watched all of the kids. It was so great. We drove up the coast a bit by the water and evening stopped by a nightcap on the way back.
Nina's dad took all of his grandchildren plus our two kids down to the boardwalk for fried dough. He is so kind.
We celebrated our anniversary and everything. We felt so spoiled by our friends. It was such a great night.
