The Merging of Vacationers

This week it just so happens that Roland was on vacation as well as the Voss' and they rented a great cottage for the week and invited us to come down and stay a night. Mother Nature granted our request for beautiful weather and we ended up having a fantastic two days with them full of food, water sports, laughs, cocktails and a camp fire.
The first day we arrived we changed right into our suits and headed for the water. The big kids swam, fished and played for hours and the littles played in the water table and napped all afternoon so the mommies could relax in the sun.

This is one of those hidden treasures you find on your camera that you didn't take yourself, but is something that melts your heart when it comes up on your computer screen. Thank you to whomever took this picture for me!

Seth and Maya tried their hand at the kayak, but as all five years do, they were bored in a matter of minutes and moved onto the next water activity.

Noelle was in love with Leah's bed and those two played in it forever while the mom's got dinner ready. We should have moved it down by the water and that way we wouldn't have had to chase them.

Right before bed Rod got the camp fire ready and we all sat back and relaxed.

Day 2: I had to drive the kids into town for a birthday party, but we came back in time for more water sports. RJ lent us his boat for the day and we brought our new tube down to try out on the kids and adults.

While we were getting the boat ready the kids took turns jumping off the dock. It has to be one of Seth's favorite things to do.

Jen and I even got a turn at the tube and it was a blast. We laughed so hard. It was a great investment.

The kids couldn't get enough of it too!

Seth and Maya wanted to go super fast, but Safety Sophie liked it a bit slower.

Thank you Voss Family for a wonderful two days. We had an amazing time!
