39th Birthday Wrapup & Valentine's Day

Shannon planned a super fun girls night out for my birthday last Saturday night and it definitely did not disappoint. We had an utter blast. Tons and tons and tons of laughs were had. We started at Ruyi for dinner which was delicious. So lucky to have these girls in my life. I am blessed.
Then, we went to Joe's for some darts and the jukebox. We even ran into Chris Hill (Justin's BFF).

Kelly graduated high school when Chris was born so the whole night she said she could be his mom and he called her mom. It was too funny.

Lots and lots of singing commenced. The jukebox certainly got a workout.

What did I do before Snapchat, it's too fun.
Last night we wrapped up my 39th birthday festivities with dinner at Dad and Sue's. It was beyond delicious and I had two huge helpings. We got to snuggle with Gigi and Coco so that was a bonus also.
This morning the kids woke up to love notes on their door. Their faces were priceless and I loved every  minute of it.
I hope they remember their childhood as being truly wonderful and that their parents love them SO much. It's the little things.
Seth loves to hold all of his hair back and wear a headband now. Oh lord help us.
Happy Valentine's Day Snapchat style. Smooch.

Boston '17

We have been planning this trip since the middle of December and now it's already over. All I can say is that it was absolutely perfect minus Leah getting pink eye on Saturday, but she was a warrior and kept going until 10pm that night. We literally timed every event, every T stop, every restaurant, everything perfectly. It was awesome. Period.
Friday night before the game we ordered brick oven pizza from a delish restaurant and it was excellent.
Saturday, bright and early we headed to The Sam Adams Brewery for a tour and tasting.

 Leah assisted.
Roland happily brought home some goodies for himself and others.
It was cold, but we walked all over the city all day long.
We stopped at Georgetown Cupcakes for a tasting.
(Cookies & Cream, Coconut, Salted Caramel & Chocolate)
Then we went to my favorite Italian bakery, CafĂ© Vittoria, for some treats.
All on his own, Seth stood up and made a toast thanking all of the adults for the wonderful trip and at the end he told his sister he loved her. It was priceless.

Saturday night we went to an outdoor, tented covered and heated brew house/beer garden and it was a blast. Molly and Jordan came and met up with us. We ate, drank, celebrated our birthdays and played games all night.

Boston '17 was the BEST.
Next trip is in two weeks, I need to rest up.

Celtics VS: Lakers

For Christmas this year we got the kids 3 different "experiences" (Tickets to the Syracuse Silver Knights, tickets to see The Celtics and tickets to the SU vs. Duke game). This weekend was the second of three. We took the kids to their very first NBA game and it was so incredible.
We were so lucky to be able to stay with Justin and Joan and Justin even drove us to the game. It was so easy and no stress.
Our seats were incredible too. We could see everything so perfectly.

Roland and Leah even found a kids club with free balloons and face painting. Score.

That $12 beer tasted extra good. (eek)
 Snap chat Celtics style

We have nothing but amazing things to say about the whole experience. The venue was so much more awe inspiring then the dome, the game itself was excellent and all of the events and things to watch in between were just great. We are hooked and already talking about heading to Toronto for our next NBA game.

A Visit to the Aunties

We got home from VT late Monday night, did many many many loads of laundry and headed back out on Tuesday afternoon for a visit with the aunties in Rochester.

Tuesday night we decided to stay put and have a fondue night at Aunt Sheryl's house. It felt so good not to rush around to a restaurant and to just chill out at the house.

 Course #1...Cheese, veggies and bread
 Course #2...meat and more veggies
Course #3...hot tub time and chocolate
On Wednesday we took Krieger for a hike on the beach and up through the woods. It was tons of fun and so good to be outside in the fresh air.
Last, but not least, we headed to lunch before the big SU vs Duke game. Such a great time with the aunties as always.
