MLK Weekend

Leah's basketball team started in the Victory Bulldog league this weekend. Leah was so scared that she literally gnawed all of her fingernails off. We felt awful. By the second game she was more into the groove and she even scored a basket which made her smile from ear to ear.

On Monday we took Leah to Dry Hill and even though it was chilly, we still had a spectacular day and most importantly spent some much needed time outside. oh, how I miss our waterfall hikes in the spring, summer and fall. I love to ski, but I also love 60 degree weather and being outside more.
I introduced Leah to my all time favorite Dry Hill tradition. It's not a healthy tradition, but I also won't let her do it too often. Dunking a candy bar in hot cocoa after skiing is the BEST.
Seth was gone all day Sunday and most of Monday with a friend to LP. They stayed at White Face Lodge and had a blast.
They went ice skating. It was Seth's second time on skates ever and he said once he got the swing of it he didn't have to use the walker at all. He loved it.

They also swam in the heated outdoor pool. He said his hair would freeze once he came up from the water. He loved every minute of his time away and his parents were very jealous and missed him like crazy.
This week we are getting ready for Gram to turn 90 and to celebrate Seth turning 12 next week. 12? What the heck??
