We're Back! SUMMER RECAP (Rest of June Recap)

Looking at these pictures, it is hard to believe that it's been two and a half months since summer vacation started. We definitely opted to spend the majority of the summer outdoors unless it rained, which it did quite often. On any given sunny day we were outside.
The first weekend of summer we dropped the kids off at the Pettit's, grabbed Pete and Erica and headed out to do some kayaking. We tried this fun little spot outside of Dexter and what a workout it was.

The first weekend of summer was also Mount Carmel Feast at our church. We went to see the fireworks on Sunday evening they were spectacular.

I made Leah's dreams come true by making homemade slime. I have learned that she is a very sensory child. She loves silly putty, slime, squishy balls, etc.
We got together with our buddies from Clayton on our first week of vacation.
The pool play dates also started quickly.

The first Thursday of vacation was the annual GES takes over Coyote Moon Wine Cruise.
WE HAD A BLAST.

Bring on July...
