The Beaner Turns 3

One year ago when Leah turned 2, she had very little hair and she said about five words. What a HUGE difference one year makes and OH, what year it has been. Leah has tons of crazy hair, talks a mile a minute, is fully potty trained and in a big girl bed. She loves music, movies, dolls, Dora, Ponies, playing with friends, riding her bike and much much more. She is such a character and has all sorts of spunk, YET she can be super duper shy and timid. We tried to teach her to ski and after one trip down the hill, decided it wasn't for her yet. Leah likes to take it all in and does not like to be the center of attention like her older brother. Leah's favorite song is "Lucy in the Sky" by the Beatles. Her favorite movies are Camp Rock 2 and  Good Luck Charlie, it's Christmas, but in her voice it sounds like Chuck Chuck Charlie Kistmas. Leah isn't the best eater, but we pick our battles with that. She loves to read books in her bed and do puzzles. Her attention span is zip so she will start a game and one minute into it be done and mover on to another. Leah sleeps with 4 special blankets and she will not go to bed without them. Lord help us this summer when it is 80 degrees outside. She is such a creature of habit. When you ask Leah what her middle name is, it comes out sounding like Elisisbess (Elizabeth). It makes me smile from ear to ear. Every time an upbeat song comes on the radio or the ipod, Leah will automatically say, "It's your favorite song Mom!" Leah can be sassy and is picking up some of her brother's bad habits, but we are nipping that in the bud. She is the best little girl we could have ever asked for and we thank God daily for blessing us with her. We can't wait to watch her grow although time can slow down because we would like her to stay little for a while longer. We love you to the moon and back Leah. You are such a lucky little girl.
Thank you Aunt Jen for my "3" shirt. I love it!
