Wrapping up February Vacation

Once we finally got home from our whirlwind two trips we settled right back into our busy lives. We went to Lowville to visit our favorite 90 year olds and bring them dinner one evening.
Roland and Leah worked on insulating the interior walls of the basement and actually creating those walls themselves. It looks so super neat and clean now. Plus it's warmer too.
The kids had some friends over to play basketball now that the basement is newly painted and cleaned up. There are walls and the Roland painted the floor and added a gloss. It's the perfect play space.
We celebrated Aunt Bonnie turning 70 at a surprise party for her on Saturday night. The kids were able to see tons of Roland's family that they don't see very often.

Then, Roland and I headed to Watertown FC Parents Night Out at Maggie's. Tons of laughs were had. We love our WFC peeps.

Sunday night we ended vacation with back to back basketball games at IHC. How is it possible that my son is now playing basketball at my old high school? Crazy how the time is flying.

We did really well in both games. He has a great coach, amazing teammates and such a supportive family who comes to cheer him on.
Vacation rocked. We truly had the very best week with tons of new experiences. We are all about going, doing and living.
Next up, MB in 41 days. We can't wait for some sand between our toes and sun shine.
