Trim the Tree

Sunday night we decided to trim the tree. Seth was very excited and Leah had no idea what the huge lighted object was in her toy room. She just took it all in and tasted a few ornaments.

Leah helped Daddy put on a few ornaments.

Seth was so funny, he loved putting ornaments up high and all in the same location so we had to move some around when he wasn't looking. He really enjoyed looking at all of our ornaments and hearing the stories that go with them.

We decided to keep it simple this year and we left off a few of the things that we normally add to it.

When Seth was a baby I bought him this ornament for his first Christmas.

Luckily the company still had the same design so that Leah wasn't left out this year. Now both kids have these special ornaments to remember their 1st Christmases. Our finished product.

We also figured out how to use the timer on our camera and took a family picture to remember the evening.
