Weekend in Review

Saturday was a super duper busy day. Leah started lacrosse for the very first time and was so excited to see some of her buddies there.
In the afternoon I chauffeured my mom, gram and aunt to Syracuse for my cousin Emily's bridal shower.
It was a long day for Gram, but I'm so happy she could come.

Saturday afternoon commenced the first of many soccer games on Charlton Field. Seth invited 12 boys over and they had a flipping blast.

On Mother's Day we went to church, went to lunch, took naps and had the best dinner...chocolate covered strawberries, popcorn and Dad's fresh cole slaw.
This week we wrap up Mother's Day with Bonnie tonight, swim for Leah and dinner in Lowville. We hope the gravel gets put in for the upcoming driveway and basketball court also. Woohooo.
Every day is a gift, don't let a single one go to waste.

The First Week of May

This week was extremely busy, but we have loved every minute of it. Wednesday evening we made our trip to Lowville to see Gram and Gramp and bring dinner. It was a whirlwind of a trip, but we love our time with them each week.

Leah's lacrosse gear came in the mail just in time for her first lacrosse practice this Saturday. She is very excited and nervous. She is also happy that many of her friends will be there. I'm super excited that she is willing to try something new this year.

We got a special package in the mail from GE with this super cute shirt in it and Leah was all concerned about which bunny Linds wants to be. "Mom, can you text Miss Kristen and see if Linds wants to be the black or white bunny?" "Mom, did Miss Kristen text back yet?" I love this little girl.
Last night was Leah's first grade concert...sniff sniff. Is it possible that she is almost in second grade already? The theme was patriotic and I think we nailed it (with her Christmas dress).

Not sure what this move is or what it means, but it's pretty stinking adorable.

She nailed and it and I definitely shed some tears.
We caught up with some of her buddies after the show for a quick pic. It was such a fun night with amazing music.
This weekend is a busy one...bridal shower in SYR, lacrosse, soccer, Mother's Day.
TGIF, Have a great weekend.

The Tail End of Spring Break '16

The rest of spring break was comprised of time spent with family and friends. We took our weekly trip to Lowville and tried out Gramp's new chair. The kids thought that was pretty amazing. Gramp is doing so much better now that he can go downstairs and get away from Gram. Ha.
Mom and Tom took Leah for a special one on one evening and she loved her time with them. They got ice cream, went to the cemetery and even took a trip to Five Below for a couple of treats.
On Friday we headed to SYR for some jump time, pizza and ended with ice cream. Good thing I jumped with the kids to burn off all of the bad foods that I ate.
Leah even played dodge ball.

On Saturday the Autote's came over and the men built soccer goals. Seth gave wagon rides which was too funny.

Charlton Field is open for business and all the friends it can handle.

Happy 63rd Birthday Mom! ~ Letchworth State Park

On the way home from Rochester we planned to make a day of it at Letchworth State Park and we invited Mom and Tom to join us for Mom's 63rd Birthday. Mom has been asking to go to Letchworth for years so we made her dream come true on her birthday. Yay.

When I say that this place is incredible that can't even do it I justice. It's a must see, go, now. We had the best day. It didn't even feel like we were in NY.

We saw three of the most beautiful waterfalls ever.

We hiked for hours and hours and thankfully the kids zonked out on the way back home.
We stopped in Pulaski and had a birthday celebration dinner at Stefano's. It was super delish.
Leah ate her weight in chicken wings.
In his glory...
