Weekend in Review

We love long weekends and especially when they involve fun activities with family and friends. Saturday was Seth's first U12 game and he was so super nervous. When he stepped onto the field the first time it looked like he had no idea what to do. New team, new coach, different teammates, it's super scary. Once he got into a groove he was good to go and he even scored. Yay buddy.
Sunday we travelled to Rochester for Rachel's Surprise 30th Birthday Party. Sheryl held it at a super hip restaurant and we all had such a great afternoon.
She was in shock. Her face was priceless.

Picture props

Little bit of a cake war at the end.
Welcome to the 30s club Rachel.
I'll hang out here with you for two more years. I'll be crying at my 40th, ha just kidding.

Happy 88th Birthday Gram

We drove up to Lowville Friday night to celebrate with a very special lady for an amazing 88th birthday. We brought her some of her favorite things...tootsie rolls, new wool socks, lotto scratchies and a DD gift card. She was so happy.

Gram asked the kids where they wanted to go for her birthday and they picked the diner. Not the healthiest of choices, but they loved every minute of it and my Gram loved watching them. All was well with the world.

We enjoy every single second with these two wonderful people. Love you Gram and Gramp.

Weekend in Review ~ January 9-10

This weekend was jam packed with sports and our favorite sports related people. We spent a ton of time at the Y and watched out kids and their friends works their hearts out. Seth's team didn't win their tourney, but they played hard and had fun.
We are very lucky to be part of the Watertown FC family of teams.
Seth has the best group of soccer buddies.

Saturday night we cheered on our favorite teams.
SU lost, but the Steeler's won. One out of two isn't too shabby.

We finally had our gravel leveled this weekend also. We now have ample parking and our future basketball court is looking good.
Sunday was Seth's first basketball game. His team did so well and won 33-6. Way to go boys.
He even won the tip.
Leah left me some interesting photos on my phone also. Love that snaggle tooth girl.

Vacation Finale

We finally got snow towards the end of vacation so the kids were super excited to engage in all winter sporting activities. We took them sledding and skiing. They were thrilled.

NYE '15

We haven't had our annual NYE party in many years so we decided to resurrect it. We decided on a Disco theme and it ended up being really fun and full of laughs.
 The costumes were so fun.
 The guys outdid themselves.

Seth had some fun with coach.
 Great group of kiddos

 Dance Fever

Cheers to the end of 2015 and the start of 2016
We hope that this year is amazing. We are pumped for it.

Christmas '15 Rewind + Vacation

Christmas was wonderful in our new home. It just felt right. We are truly blessed that 2015 was so good to us and we don't take that for granted for one minute.
One Christmas Eve the kids sang in the Children's choir at mass. They were happy to see their buddies The Esposito's. They miss them since we moved.

After mass we had Christmas with Justin, Joan, Mom and Tom.

Seth was so psyched that he got many items on his list. One being a "Curry" jersey.
Leah and grandma wrote a letter to Santa.

Every year spent in Lowville now is extra special. We enjoy our family and most of all my grandparents so very much.

My gramp loved this gift. It was full of old stories from Lewis County.
The traditional grandchildren picture
Plus the great grandkids
Seth got the game Beanboozled for Christmas so he
was very excited to play it with Uncle J and Aunt J.
We took the kids to the SU game a couple of days after Christmas.

After the SU game we had The Charlton Christmas.

We played Beanboozled again and had tons of laughs with it.
Seth had a Round Robin basketball game at Indian River over vacation also. Leah and her friend ran laps while the boys played. Win win in my book.

We also had a Parents VS: Kids game at the Y
We had just enough to do, but not too much. Vacation rocked.
