Happy 7th Birthday Bean!

Since Leah has switched schools and joined a team she finally has some really nice buddies so when we asked her what kind of party she wanted she asked for a gymnastics party and she asked if she could invite all of her friends. One was out of town and one ended up with the flu, but she still had a ton of nice friends at her party. I was super proud of her also. She had friends from Knick, Sherman, North and IHC and she made sure to play with everyone and make sure everyone felt comfortable. I was very happy the party wasn't at my house with this many kiddos.

Seth begged to have one friend at the party and since Aliza was coming, he pushed to let us have him invite Willa. Big shocker there...
 The biggest kid of all.
Leah and Caitlin, friends since they were 1 at Judi's

 50 slice pizza anyone??

Later at home we opened gifts from GE, the grandparents and us.
 Cookies and Cream wishes
A new bike, she has grown a ton so it was time.
Leah loves crafts, cooking and Legos so she was in seventh heaven when she opened all of her friend gifts.

Magic #7

Happy 7th Birthday Leah Bean.
Leah was so excited for her birthday to finally arrive and for her elf to make his reappearance for the occasion. He brought her a Shopkin and you'd have thought it was a million dollars. Needless to say she was happy.
We made a pit stop at DD before Seth's U12 game and she had her favorite munchkins.
After Seth's game Poppy came over with her special gift...her new desk. She had definitely grown out of her old one so Poppy wanted to be the one to buy her a new one. She has it all organized and uses it a TON already.

Thank you Poppy for the sweet and thoughtful gift.
More birthday madness to come in a separate post. Stay tuned...

School Treats and Professional Soccer

Sherman has a strict "No Unhealthy Treats" policy for birthdays and I think it is great. For Seth's birthday we made fruit kabobs and for Leah's birthday we made snack mix to take to school. Leah was so excited to be special for the day and she loved helping make her snacks.

Friday night all of the Watertown FC teams were invited to take part in a clinic with the Syracuse Silver Knights. The players were able to practice their moves on the big field with some of the players before the game and then we all stayed for the game at 7:30pm.

 Watertown FC U10-A2 Representing

The game was SO much fun. They played music through the entire game, threw out shirts and balls to catch and it was an intense game. We couldn't get over the fact that the pros are very pushy and the refs call nothing. It was definitely a ton of fun to watch.

Weekend in Review ~ Leap Weekend

We had our friends The Knapp's over on Friday night and the kids had an utter blast. They ran full steam until 10:30pm and then they crashed. It was a lovely evening and we enjoyed it.

On Saturday Seth had a double header for his U12 team. The second game they played FX Caprara and a friend of ours son was on the opposing team and she asked if we could get the three #11s in a picture at the end. It's too cute. (Seth, Lucas Lavarnway and Nico)
Saturday night we loaded up and hit the hill. Between sports and basic life we haven't skied as much as normal so we took this chance to have some outdoor and family time. It was the perfect night and we had a great time.
Jack, Noah, Seth and Nico skied together all night.
On Sunday the kids snuggled for a bit between church school, soccer and basketball. We never have much time at home, but when we do we take full advantage.
We even spotted 7 deer next door yesterday afternoon.
We threw together some Naan pizza for an early dinner last night. It was so delicious.
Dessert ended a near perfect weekend. Our kids LOVE dessert and since they only get it every other night, they truly enjoy those nights.
Here's to another busy week, but we enjoy each and every day.
