We took time out from dancing and chatting to eat the 25lbs. of baked ziti that I cooked up for us all! Usually when you spend time cooking that much you don't enjoy it. Well... that rule wasn't true last night. I think most people had seconds and I totally had seconds on ziti and salad. It was delicious!

Two Special Cakes
The best part of birthday's in our family is getting to pick out a cake theme and then waiting to see what Lorraine's creation turns out to look like. I have never been disappointed in the 5 years that she has been making the kids cakes. Every year they just get better and better. This year I simply gave her a copy of the napkin and told her I'd like a large 2. This is what she came up with. She is so incredibly talented!

Leah in the Fall
Leah had a huge growth spurt this past fall. She started wearing 2T clothes and her hair really started to grow. We went on many fall adventures and enjoyed every bit of outdoor weather that we could.
Leah's Party @ Judi's
Yesterday Judi had a special party just for Leah to celebrate her birthday. She had gifts and special treats for her!

Flashback Spring & Summer Style
It sure has been fun gathering old pictures of Leah this week and reminiscing about our last year with her. She has grown and changed so much that it is hard to believe a year has gone by so quickly. She has gone from bald to partial hair to a full head of hair that constantly sticks up from the static.

Flashback
It is crazy to think that in 3 short days our little Bean will turn 2. I dug out some pictures from this time last year and I actually got teary eyed. We thought she would be bald forever and my goodness she has changed so very much in the past year. She is such a little lady with a big attitude.

Fairy Godmother
Leah was given a very special gift yesterday afternoon from her Fairy Godmother and I have to say that it made me cry instantly. I am such a sucker for personalization and creative gifts and this blew me away. I am counting down the days until I can put her in this outfit and she just might wear it more than once this week. We are so happy that we have chosen such wonderful and thoughtful people to surround ourselves with. We are BLESSED!
Thank you a million times over Auntie Jen for such an amazing gift and for being a fantastic godmother!
