...they were crazy enough to wear pink and brown to Leah's 1st birthday party event! Thank you all for being good sports, it was so much fun. There were also many other people there who wore pink and brown but in the craziness I missed them with my camera. Thank you to Dad, Sue, Dayna, Bonnie, Roland, Sheryl, Mr. & Mrs. Smith & Maya too!

Best Dressed Girlie in Town

Leah got so many clothes for her birthday that I can safely say she may be the best dressed one year old in Watertown this summer!
Yum, real food again!
Check me out!
Leah was not shy whatsoever! We could not grab her gifts fast enough for her to tear through them.
She especially loved her new chair from Aunt Sheryl.
Thank you to everyone who bought Leah wonderful birthday gifts and shared her special milestone!

We are truly grateful that whatever little bug Leah caught was over by her big party because she loved every minute of digging into her cake (with a little help from Mommy & Miss Kristen). We had to cut her off mid way through the cake or else she would have been up all night with a belly ache.
Happy Birthday to Leah! She loved being sung to!
Hmm, what to do with this, where to start?
Getting there...
Messy girl!
Where we cut her off. It took Jen, myself and my Mom to clean her up and get all the cake off of her. I was actually thankful for once that she didn't have hair to clean cake out of. Now it can grow!

Photo Booth Train Wreck!

Friday night we headed to the mall to take our yearly birthday photo booth picture. We planned to just have the kids in the picture because it is getting very hard to fit the four of us in the booth. Anyhow, I had Leah on my lap and we were getting ready when the booth started before we were ready. Needless to say the picture turned out totally crazy with half heads, children looking the wrong way and laughter all around. I will scan it in tomorrow so you can see Leah's photo booth train wreck. Memories!!
Seth filled up his behavior chart this week so he was also able to have a special night with Daddy so after our picture was taken he and Daddy went off and did some special activities!
Leah has overcome to fear of wearing her shoes in public and ran around the mall. She loved it!
Get me out of here I want to run!

Party @ Pat's

It has been a tradition since Seth's first birthday to bring a little treat for the kids best buds at Pat's and I always leave my camera so that I don't miss any special moments. This year true to fashion we were able to celebrate another milestone with Pat and she did a great job capturing the memories. Leah wasn't very smiley though. Pat tells me that after she ate her cupcake she was so mad that it was gone she screamed for more. That's our girl!
I have this same exact picture of Seth when he turned one. Same sign and friends gathering around him. Love it!
She gave us the same look Saturday night when he put her cake in front of her!
We love you Leah!

Leah's Gift

We decided to give Leah her gift from us last night and she LOVED it. It turned her mood right around.

We are ready when spring officially comes!

Happy 4th Birthday Jacob!

Happy Birthday to Seth's BFF today also! We love you Jacob! See you Saturday!

Birthday Photo Shoot #1

I bought Leah a birthday bib and a birthday shirt. So we did a little photo shoot last weekend with just the bib, just wait until you see her outfit for her party on Saturday. PRICELESS!
Remember if you are attending the party to wear your pink and brown!

Happy 1st Birthday Leah Bean!

Dear Leah~
I can hardly believe that one year ago today I looked like this!
I spent the whole day at work trying to waddle to and fro while you tried to kick your way out. I can remember taking deep breaths all day while I tried to teach just wondering if today was the day. Well, it definitely was and you were born very quickly. Your Uncle J, Grandma Puccia & Miss Jen can tell you exactly how loud your Mommy screamed as you entered the world. It was all worth it because you are the most special little girl we could have ever asked for.
Your brother was very excited to meet you and he loved his new Big Brother shirt that we made him for the occasion.

Time has flown by all too quickly this year. We have had so much fun and so many experiences that it is very hard to remember it all. Thank goodness your Mommy loves her camera and does not miss a single moment of your life. You will have many many discs to look through as you get older as well as scrap books. I love that you are a smiler, you like to run around the house now, you love music and kick your feet to the beat. Food is your friend and you hardly ever turn it down. You are not saying many words yet, but you definitely let the world know that you are here! I can tell where you are by your grunts which I think are priceless. Your Daddy and I look forward to many many more years together watching you grow and waiting to see what you look like with hair! We can't wait! We love you tons and tons little bean!

The sun has been out all week and no matter how crazy or out of control the week has gotten the sun has made it all better! Things are looking up and spring is on its way!

1B

Seth started swim classes last week. He is now in the 1B class and he is doing great. All of the practice in Grandma and Poppy's pool really helped him last summer. We are now trying to get him to keep his mouth closed, he really tried hard this week and he was all smiles!

We still have four weeks left if anyone wants to see Seth in action. We are at the YMCA on Wednesday nights @ 6:30pm!

Random Visit

Seth randomly waved to a policeman on our walk and he then turned around and stopped to chat with us. He showed Seth the inside of his patrol car and quizzed Seth on his facts. It was super cute and Seth passed with flying colors!

Of course I had my camera so I snapped some quick photos like the paparazzi.

Feels Like SPRING!

Yesterday afternoon the air smelled and felt like spring so we took the opportunity to get outside and enjoy it before the next snow storm. We broke out the stroller and Seth's bike and we were off! Leah even practiced her walking skills outside with her new sneakers in the driveway.
These shoes aren't too bad!
She started running towards a snowbank so I grabbed her quick!
Riding down Washington St.
Checking out the stroller after a long hiatus.
Peek-a-Boo Mommy!

Sunday Night Dinner

Since Lee will be leaving soon (sniff sniff) we want to make sure we can spend as much time with them as a family as we can so we had them over for Sunday dinner. It worked out perfect. Lindsey goes to bed by 6pm so we just put her in Leah's bed while we all ate and played the Wii. It was a super fun night...see video below!
Smiley boys!
BFFs
Loving those cheeks and all that hair!

More Dancing Fun!

Last night we had our friends The Castana's for Sunday night dinner and Kristen couldn't wait to play Just Dance. We finally realized that it is ten times more fun to play with two players and battle it out. If you watch the video closely you will also see that Seth and Jacob were amazing dancers as well. We all danced so much that we were sweaty. Also, we have been informed that Rod is ready to play again very soon and that his sister bought him a full on 80s style outfit complete with spandex, leg warmers and wrist bands. We are anxiously awaiting his next performance. He should definitely get extra points for his wardrobe.
